Melbourne Workshop now open!

We have fitted our first build at our new Melbourne workshop! Located 2/37 Garden St, Kilsyth VIC, opposite the ARB Headquarters. Our workshop is now open to customers who live in VIC to come get their Norweld build fitted as part of our service.

We are open 5 days a week until the end of the year, so drop in to check out our builds and secure yourself a package before Xmas!

After a massive weekend in Melbourne at the National 4×4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo we are back into it with a bang. Thanks to all our customers new and old who popped in to say hi and check out our display vehicles.

This Dual Cab Cruiser rolled out last week featuring one of our Deluxe Tray packages and Compact series Canopy. We have also released a flared guard option for those running 35s and big offset wheels. Perfectly paired with the @jmacx_offroad_solutions Coil Conversion and Gvm fitted by. @cairnstocape4x4. Bar work and @rhino_rack Roof Rack fitted by TJM Cairns. A super tough, capable touring and overland rig.

Mercedes X-Class

We have been excited for the release of the new Mercedes X Class and a chance to get our hands on one to develop trays and full-time canopies for them. We recently fitted one of our Weekender tray packages to this 4×4 X250d for Mercedes-Benz Trinity Motors and we must admit it looks pretty good. Norweld are proud to announce the opening of our Sydney showroom and fit-up workshop. We are located at 155 Newbridge Road, Chipping Norton, just up the road from TJM 4×4 Equipped and ARB 4×4 Accessories. There are trays and canopies on display, and our opening days are as follows.

Norweld Canopy – 3 Weeks in the wild!

OUT IN THE WILD

Our Design and Production Manager, Steve, recently returned from 3 weeks of exhaustive product testing in Cape York, where he put his full-time intermediate canopy through its paces. This trip was to test our current designs, as well as a couple of new products we are contemplating rolling out.

One of the most common questions our customers ask when enquiring about our products, and when we are testing them, is how resistant to dust they are. As you can see by this video, the exterior of the canopy is filthy and dusty – yet when we open the door, it is dust-free.

The key to a dust-free interior is our specialized design, combined with a standard option of pressurising the canopy and using flush doors. As we are situated in close proximity to Cape York, we are able to conduct extensive testing and further develop the knowledge required to effectively design and construct our trays and canopies
